Liverpool reveal newest away soccer uniform

Premier League giants Liverpool has revealed their new home uniform, now sponsored by Standard Chartered instead of Carlsberg, which the club will wear during the 10/11 campaign.

The team had a dismal 09/10 season that saw Rafa Benitez lose his job just weeks after the conclusion. With supporters expecting a title challenge after last season’s 2nd place finish, Liverpool ended up 7th in the division and with little cash to change the squad. The Champions League was also a disaster with the team finishing 3rd in their group and moving into the Europa League where they lost in the semi finals to Atletico Madrid. Little progress was made in either domestic cup competition giving Liverpool their worst campaign for some time.

The new Liverpool 10/11 home cheap soccer uniforms is predominately white with thin red vertical pinstripes running continuously throughout the body. The collar is a red V neck with black patches on both sides. Manufacturers Adidas place their red logo in the top right of the uniform whilst the three traditional red stripes run down the shoulders. The club badge is also positioned in the top left whilst sponsors “Standard Chartered” place a large black worded logo across the middle of the uniform.
